In Dnipro, due to emergency power outages, from 10:00 on October 30, metro services are suspended, and stations remain shelters. In light of the limitations on electric transport, passengers are offered bus alternatives. The transport department of the city council informs about this.

Dnipro Metro suspends transport from October 30

In the morning, after a partial restoration of power, the metro was running with an interval of 16 minutes. However, at 09:42, the department announced a new halt: power supply will be limited for emergency works.

Thus, the morning weekend schedule after 10:00 is no longer a benchmark for trips. There is no mention of the timeframe for the resumption of services. Access to stations as shelters is maintained.

Buses instead of electric transport in Dnipro on October 30

The city council has published a list of routes that fully or partially duplicate the paths of trolleybuses and trams. These are bus alternatives, not announcements of the launch of separate free transport services.

Among the complete replacements of trolleybus routes:

Partial duplicates require more careful selection. For example, instead of trolleybus No. 6 from Prydniprovske to Cosmic Street, one can choose bus No. 18, and from Cosmic Street to the Historical Museum: No. 157A. It should also be noted the operation of transport during air raid alerts.

Power outages started in the evening of October 29 after Russian strikes. Energy workers continue repairs. Before departure, it is advisable to check the operational announcements of the department: the usual public transport schedule may vary due to the state of power supply.
