In Dnipro, a son beat his father to death

According to glavcom.ua: The tragic incident occurred on July 4 at around 20:40 in a house on Prystan Street in the Samarsky district of the city, where the father and son lived together. During a quarrel, the son struck his father multiple times, which led to his death.

In Dnipro, the police detained a 46-year-old man suspected of fatally beating his 72-year-old father. The victim died on the spot from the injuries sustained. This was reported by "Glavkom" with reference to the Dnipro police.

The assailant was detained by employees of the police department No.1 of the Dnipro District Police Department No.2 under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.

On July 5, investigators informed the man of suspicion of committing a criminal offense under part 2 of Article 121 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - "intentional serious bodily harm resulting in the death of the victim." This crime is punishable by up to 10 years in prison.

Currently, a pre-trial investigation is ongoing to establish all the circumstances of the event.

It is worth noting that DBR employees reported suspicion against a serviceman of the Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support from Dnipro. He groundlessly registered data on the unfitness for service of at least 17 people.
