According to Главком: A series of violent incidents involving stabbings and robberies has been reported in Kyiv and the Kyiv region. The most notable case involves the arrest of a 19-year-old suspect who allegedly stabbed a 53-year-old man in the Obolon district. The altercation occurred while a group was socializing near a residential building on Heroiv Polku Azov Street. The suspect, a resident of the Kyiv region, reportedly pulled out a knife, stabbed the victim in the abdomen, and fled the scene. Paramedics transported the injured man to a hospital with a penetrating abdominal wound.

Detectives from the Obolon Police Department, working alongside criminal analysts, identified the attacker. The suspect already had a criminal record: charges for theft and illegal vehicle possession had been filed against him in court. He was detained under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine and is now facing charges under Part 1 of Article 121 of the Criminal Code for intentional grievous bodily harm, which carries a sentence of up to eight years in prison.
