According to Прокуратура Київ: A 45-year-old man was taken into custody by law enforcement in Kyiv after brandishing a live grenade and threatening to use it while officers searched his garage. The search was part of a criminal investigation tied to illegal drug labs. Inside the garage, authorities uncovered a substantial cache of weapons, ammunition, and narcotics.

Specifically, the garage yielded the following items:

• two bodies of F-1 fragmentation hand grenades;
• two fuses for the grenades;
• an AKS-74 assault rifle;
• a Fort-19 pistol;
• a bayonet for the AK-74;
• a large quantity of various-caliber rounds;
• 12 grams of a substance resembling amphetamine;
• a zip-lock bag of cannabis;
• digital scales;
• containers with drug residue.

All confiscated items have been sent for forensic examination.

The suspect has been charged under Part 1 of Article 345 and Part 1 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine for threatening violence against a law enforcement officer and for the illegal acquisition and possession of ammunition. The court ordered his pre-trial detention for 60 days without the option of bail. Prosecutors from the Darnytsia District Prosecutor's Office in Kyiv are overseeing the case.
