Traffic restrictions near Chernihivska metro station in Kyiv until December
Traffic and pedestrian restrictions in the area of Chernihivska metro station will be introduced in Kyiv starting from April 25. The reason is the commencement of major repairs on the overpass, which will last until the end of November. This is reported by Kyiv City State Administration.
Traffic restrictions in Kyiv: what will be closed near the Chernihivska metro
Repair works will be carried out on the overpass located at the intersection of Myropilska Street with Brovarskiy Prospect and the Svyatoshyn-Brovarska metro line.
During the repair works, the movement on this overpass will be completely closed for both vehicles and pedestrians. The communal corporation “Kyivavtodor” explains that the major repair is necessary to maintain the safe condition of the facility, which is exposed to significant loads.
Overpass repairs in Kyiv: how traffic will change
Due to the closure, the organization of road traffic in the area of the works will change. Public transport routes will also be adjusted.
To compensate for the inconveniences, the “Kyivpastrans” enterprise plans to launch additional temporary routes to maintain transport communication for residents of the area.
Warning road signs and information boards will be installed at the approaches to the site. Works will be carried out in compliance with construction regulations and safety requirements.
“Kyivavtodor” urges drivers and pedestrians to take the restrictions into account in advance and plan alternative routes.
Let us remind you that in Kyiv, traffic restrictions have begun due to repair works on two avenues, as well as on the M-06 highway. The traffic restrictions on the Air Forces Avenue will last from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. The works are being carried out by the SHEU of the Solomyanskyi district near house No. 9.
