Road Incidents in Kyiv and the Brovary District

According to Главком: In Kyiv's Pechersk District, a motorcyclist riding an Aprilia ignored a lawful stop order from police motorcycle patrols and attempted to flee. After being blocked, he crashed into a police service motorcycle. No officers were injured in the incident, and the violator also escaped unharmed. Three administrative protocols were drawn up against the motorcyclist under the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses (CUAO). One protocol under Article 124 addresses traffic rule violations that caused an accident, while another under Part 1 of Article 122-2 covers failure to comply with a lawful stop request. Additionally, the offender received a protocol under Part 1 of Article 121-3 for improper use of license plates. Case materials have been forwarded to the court.

Traffic Accidents in the Villages of Trebukhiv and Hvardiiske

Traffic accidents were also recorded in the village of Trebukhiv, Brovary District, and in the village of Hvardiiske, Khmelnytskyi Region. In Trebukhiv, the crash involved:

• a Spark motorcycle operated by an 18-year-old driver;
• a Tekken motorcycle ridden by a 16-year-old driver.

As a result of the collision, the Spark driver failed to yield the right of way while exiting a store parking lot, leading to injuries for two people.

In Hvardiiske, another accident occurred involving a Honda motorcycle and a Daewoo Sens car. The Honda rider, a 15-year-old resident of the village of Raikivtsi, died at the scene. Those injured in this incident included the car driver, as well as three passengers: a 40-year-old woman and two children aged 4 and 5. These cases highlight ongoing issues with traffic rule compliance that lead to severe outcomes.
