According to Прокуратура Київ: In Kyiv, in Vynohradar, a 55-year-old woman threw a dog of the Pincher breed out of the window of the fourth floor, resulting in the animal's death. The owner of the apartment where the suspect lived with her partner was renting them a room. In the neighboring room, he lived with his dog named Elsa, who was almost 4 years old.

The neighbors heard the animal's whimpering and later found it dead under the building. According to the investigation, the suspect abuses alcohol, but the woman does not explain her actions. She has been notified of suspicion of cruelty to animals, which has been qualified as an active offense. The woman was detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine, and she faces imprisonment for up to 8 years. The procedural supervision of the case is carried out by the Podilsk District Prosecutor's Office of Kyiv.
