Kyiv Bus and Trolleybus Routes Adjusted for Weekend Fairs
Public Transport Route Changes in Kyiv
According to Главком: Seasonal fairs taking place on several streets this weekend are forcing route adjustments for Kyiv’s buses and trolleybuses. The municipal operator Kyivpastrans has announced the temporary detours, which will affect services on July 4 and 5. Streets impacted include Holosiivska, Tatarska, Yordanska, Serzha Lyfaria, and Ihor Yukhnovsky.
Changes on July 4–5
On Saturday, July 4, routes for buses No. 39, 98, and 110, as well as trolleybus No. 34, will be modified as follows:
- Bus No. 39 will run via: Holosiivskyi Avenue – Nauky Avenue – Lysogirska Street – Lysogirskyi Lane. The return direction remains unchanged.
- Bus No. 98 will travel through Radunska Street, Budyshchanska Street, the odd-numbered side of Honore de Balzac Street, Oleksandra Ekster Street, Chervonoi Kalyny Avenue, Serzha Lyfaria Street, and Pukhivska Street to TEC-6.
- Bus No. 110 will operate along: Radunska Street – Gradynska Street – the even side of Honore de Balzac Street – Oleksandra Ekster Street – Chervonoi Kalyny Avenue – Serzha Lyfaria Street – Mykoly Zakrevskoho Street – Ploshcha Ukrainskykh Heroiv metro station.
- Trolleybus No. 34 will run from Pivnichna Street to Stepana Bandery Avenue.
On Sunday, July 5, changes will apply to buses No. 31, 110, and 112:
- Bus No. 31 will follow this route: Politekhnichnyi Instytut metro station – Beresteiskyi Avenue – Bohdana Havrylyshyna Street – Mytrofana Dovnar-Zapolskoho Street – Dehtyarivska Street – Biloruska Street – Derevlianska Street – Yuriia Illienka Street – Akademika Romodanova Street – Zahorivska Street – Kniazia Volodymyra Monomakha Street – Tatarska Street.
- Buses No. 110 and 112 will run from Ploshcha Ukrainskykh Heroiv metro station and Lukianivska metro station to Raiduzhna Street, then proceed through Ivana Mykytenka Street, Sirozhupannykiv Street, and Ihor Yukhnovsky Street. The return direction for these buses remains unchanged.
Officials note that the highest passenger traffic occurs on main routes connecting multiple districts, as well as those linking the right and left banks of the city. In contrast, the lowest passenger volume is on bus route No. 54, which runs from Pokilska Street (Mykhaila Spivaka Square) to Vydubychi metro station. All service adjustments will remain in effect until the fairs conclude.
These temporary reroutes come as seasonal fairs draw large crowds across the city. Passengers are encouraged to check the updated itineraries ahead of their trips to avoid delays or confusion.
