Kyiv Adjusts Electric Transport Routes

According to Главком: The Kyiv City State Administration (KCSA) has announced changes to electric transport routes, effective March 4. These adjustments are necessary due to repair work on the overpass at the intersection of Ronald Reagan Street and Honoré de Balzac Street. As a result, trolleybus route No. 37, which previously ran from Myloslavska Street to Lisova Metro Station, has been modified.

Revised Trolleybus Itineraries

The new route for trolleybus No. 37 in the forward direction now includes:

  • Radunska Street (from Myloslavska Street)
  • Liskivska Street
  • Oleksandry Ekster Street
  • Chervonoyi Kalyny Avenue

It then continues on its regular route to Lisova Metro Station. For the return trip, the trolleybus travels from Lisova Metro Station to Ronald Reagan Street on its standard route, then proceeds via Chervonoyi Kalyny Avenue, Oleksandry Ekster Street, Liskivska Street, Radunska Street, and back to Ronald Reagan Street.

Furthermore, trolleybus route No. 37-A, which operated between Lisova Metro Station and Mykoly Zakrevskoho Street, has been suspended for the duration of the repairs. To maintain passenger service, a temporary bus route, No. 37-D, has been introduced. This bus connects Lisova Metro Station with Mykoly Zakrevskoho Street (Polyclinic), traveling via Kyoto Street, Kubanskoi Ukrainy Street, Lisovy Avenue, and other streets, providing a convenient alternative for commuters. These infrastructure repairs are part of ongoing efforts to maintain the city's transport network.

Starting March 4, provided there are no new damages to the energy infrastructure, electric transport on Kyiv's left bank will resume its regular schedule. It is worth noting that on February 25, the municipal enterprise 'Kyivpastrans' began a partial restoration of electric transport services on the capital's right bank.

The alterations to Kyiv's electric transport routes are being implemented to facilitate necessary repair work, demonstrating a commitment to maintaining infrastructure in proper condition.

Kyiv City State Administration (KCSA)

The temporary introduction of bus route No. 37-D helps preserve transport accessibility for passengers during the construction period, which is crucial for ensuring comfortable travel around the city. With electric transport on the left bank returning to its normal schedule, the overall public transportation situation in the capital is expected to improve.
