The KMVA explained why they do not implement the Israeli warning system

Explanation of KMVA regarding the Israeli warning system
КМВА розповіла про причини недоцільності впровадження ізраїльської системи оповіщення.

Timur Tkachenko explained that the peculiarities of urban development and the nature of modern threats make a localized warning system ineffective. According to him, due to the density of urban development and the specificity of threats, the military does not consider local warning to be appropriate.

The Kyiv City Military Administration does not plan to implement a localized warning system about threats based on the Israeli model. This was stated by the head of the KMVA, Timur Tkachenko, in an interview with Ukrinform.

According to the military administration of Kyiv, local conditions do not ensure the effective functioning of a localized warning system about danger, so other ways to increase the city's readiness for possible threats are currently being considered.

This news reveals Kyiv's plans regarding the implementation of a warning system about threats and explains why the localized model is not the most effective for the capital. The military acknowledged that due to the specificity of the urban environment, the existing system may be ineffective, so they are looking for alternative ways to ensure the safety of residents.
