Ukrainian doctors performed a double transplantation for a child for the first time: a kidney and a liver

An extremely important operation was performed in Lviv - a double family transplantation for 7-year-old Artur. He received a kidney from his father and a part of the liver from his mother, which saved his life from serious kidney and liver problems.

The discovery of an aggressive tumor at the age of two and subsequent kidney problems led to this complicated situation. Only thanks to the incredible work of the medical team and the determination of the family was it possible to carry out a successful operation that will allow Artur to enjoy childhood and dream about the future again.
