Transport updates in Lviv: how the fleet is changing

The city is gradually modernizing public transport, making it more accessible for passengers, including people with disabilities and parents with strollers.

In the last year:

  • the municipal ATP-1 purchased 10 mid-class buses with air conditioning

  • old buses were completely replaced on routes No. 20, No. 32, and No. 37

  • municipal and private carriers released about 100 new buses on the lines.

Currently, there are over 360 low-floor buses operating in the Lviv community, and about 78% of public transport is accessible to passengers with limited mobility.

It is worth noting that private carriers in Lviv have warned of a possible termination of part of the bus routes. The reason cited is the sharp rise in fuel prices and the loss-making nature of transportation at the current fare.
