New buildings of Nevsky are collapsing in Mariupol: consequences of Putin's reconstruction
The destruction of new residential buildings of the 'Nevsky' complex in Mariupol has begun, constructed by Russia in 2023 for show. This was reported by journalist Denis Kazansky, referring to 'Glavkom'.
It is already visible that the cladding with insulation is falling off the walls of these buildings due to poor fastening. These 'exemplary' residences, which the Kremlin boasted about in propaganda, do not even withstand a minimal period of operation.
Recall that two years ago Vladimir Putin personally visited occupied Mariupol and was in the Nevsky microdistrict. The Russian dictator inspected the construction and assured that 'these buildings are no worse than good Moscow apartments'. However, it is now evident that haste and low quality of work have led to the rapid destruction of housing.
In temporarily occupied Mariupol, Russian troops damaged a football field for their propaganda purposes. New satellite images show the extent of the destruction in the city and also problems with the reservoir that pose a threat to fish and the aquatic environment.
Earlier, it was reported that Russia changed its tactics of war, using drones to attack civilian facilities and transport. Currently, Russians are actively using drones for systematic attacks on moving columns and roads.
The destruction of new buildings in Mariupol indicates the low quality of construction carried out by Russia in this city for propaganda purposes. Such facts further confirm the aggressive nature of the actions of the Russian government in Ukraine and the negative impact of this aggression on the local population and infrastructure.
