Ukraine received high marks from the OECD: what has changed in the judicial system
Україна отримала позитивні оцінки від ОЕСР: які зміни відбулися в судовій сфері.

According to НАЗК: Recently, it became known that Ukraine demonstrated a high level of independence of the judiciary during the fifth round of monitoring of the Istanbul Action Plan. In this regard, the country received 57.4 points out of 100, which indicates compliance with OECD standards.

OECD experts noted Ukraine's successful steps in this direction, in particular the restoration of the processes for the selection and appointment of judges on a competitive basis, the establishment of uniform indicators of judges' integrity, legal confirmation of judges' remuneration without 'discretionary' payments, and the implementation of a new disciplinary procedure system.

'Legislation clearly regulates all stages of disciplinary liability and guarantees judges the right to defense, appeal, and proper consideration.'

Ukraine continues to reform the judicial system and is making efforts to ensure transparency, independence, and efficiency of the court. This is an important step in strengthening democracy and the rule of law in the country.
