According to Главком: An explosion in the lobby of an apartment building in Monaco has left Ukrainian businessman Vadym Yermolayev, his wife, and a 13-year-old teenager injured. The incident occurred on Rue Révérend-Père-Louis-Folla, where an unidentified man abandoned a backpack containing explosives and fled the scene. Authorities, including the prosecutor’s office and Monaco’s head of government, Christophe Mirman, have preliminarily classified the event as a terrorist act.

Surveillance cameras captured images of the suspect, but he has not yet been located. Emergency services arrived at 9:15 PM following an urgent call. Vadym Yermolayev and his wife, both adults aged between 50 and 60, are in critical condition. In contrast, the 13-year-old boy is in stable condition. Four additional individuals were taken to the hospital suffering from shock.

Vadym Yermolayev ranks 23rd on Forbes’ list of the 100 wealthiest Ukrainians. In 2019, he relinquished his Ukrainian passport in favor of Cypriot citizenship. According to Christophe Mirman,
