Arson of Bundeswehr military vehicles in Germany: police considers political motive

According to glavcom.ua: According to the criminal police investigation, there is a suspicion of intentional arson. The perpetrators have not yet been identified. In connection with a possible political motive, the investigation is being conducted alongside the state security service.

In Germany, a fire broke out in Kassel, during which four military vehicles belonging to the Bundeswehr were burned. This was reported by 'Glavkom' referencing FAZ.

The fire in the Bad-Wilhelmshöhe area was recorded around 3:15 a.m. on Tuesday. A witness noticed the vehicles ablaze and called for fire and police assistance. No one was injured as a result of this incident.

As a result of the fire, the vehicles were completely destroyed. Estimated damages are around €150,000. The police are urging witnesses to provide any information that may assist in the investigation.

Previous cable arson in Germany
