The pastors, who were over 60 years old, stood in the aisle of the plane, shouting and arguing with passengers, ignoring repeated warnings from crew members and other passengers. On August 18, the Southern District Court of Seoul found them guilty of violating aviation safety laws. Each pastor received a fine of $724. The court authorities deemed the behavior of the pastors destructive, yet they rejected the accusations.
