In Sumy, electricity was lost as a result of Russian shelling

According to glavcom.ua: Last night, the Russian occupation army struck civilian infrastructure in the Sumy region. This was reported by the head of the Sumy OVA, Oleg Hryhorov, according to the 'Guerilla' portal.

The attacks by Russian troops led to the power supply being cut off for part of the residents of the Sumy district. This caused medical institutions and other important facilities to switch to backup power, the Sumy OVA reported. Hryhorov noted that restoration work is ongoing, but the return of electricity supply may take a long time. He stressed that everything possible will be done for the swift restoration of the system.

'Currently, work is underway for restoration, and the return of electricity supply may take some time. We are doing everything we can to expedite this process,' wrote Hryhorov.

The acting mayor of Sumy, Artem Kobzar, explained that as a result of enemy shelling, part of the city was left without power. Relevant services are busy eliminating the consequences of the emergency situation and restoring the electricity supply.

The Russian occupation army's attacks on the civilian infrastructure of Sumy have caused the power supply to be cut off for part of the population and vital facilities to switch to backup power. Local authorities and rescue services are working to eliminate the consequences and promptly restore the electricity supply to provide the residents of the district with the necessary resources.
