According to Главком: A devastating road accident claimed the lives of a 47-year-old female driver of a Toyota and her 12-year-old daughter in the Vinnytsia district. The crash occurred on May 30 around 10:00 AM near the village of Ksaverivka. According to preliminary findings from the investigation, the driver lost control of her vehicle, veered into oncoming traffic, and collided with a DAF truck towing a semi-trailer, which was operated by a 38-year-old resident of the Zhytomyr region.
Both vehicles caught fire following the collision. Police officers, rescue workers, and other relevant emergency services responded to the scene. Traffic on that stretch of road was temporarily rerouted in a reverse-flow pattern. The driver of the car and her daughter died instantly as a result of the crash.
