In Vinnytsia region, a scheme of illegal logging in the reserve was uncovered: damage of 6 million UAH

Under the procedural guidance of the Haysyn District Prosecutor's Office, two foremen from the Dohnian forestry were notified of suspicion. They are accused of assisting in illegal logging, as well as transporting, storing, and selling timber in the territory of the 'Karmelyukove Podillya' National Nature Park.

The Prosecutor's Office of the Vinnytsia region has identified officials of the State Enterprise 'Forests of Ukraine' who facilitated illegal logging in the protected area. According to the investigation, their activities caused damage in the amount of 6 million UAH. This was reported by 'Ukrainska Pravda' referring to the Vinnytsia regional prosecutor's office.

The investigation established that from July to September 2025, the officials assisted three residents of the Chechelniy community in carrying out illegal logging. These three 'loggers' were also previously notified of suspicion, and the court selected preventive measures against them in the form of detention and house arrest.

Currently, prosecutors are preparing a petition for preventive measures in the form of detention for the foremen.

In the Mohyliv-Podilskyi district of Vinnytsia, a tragedy occurred in a farming enterprise: a drunk driver on a tractor killed two workers. This was reported by 'Ukrainska Pravda' referring to the Vinnytsia police.

In connection with the facts revealed, the prosecutor's office has already begun working with the suspects and plans to file a petition for preventive measures. It was also noted about the tragic event at the farm where a drunk driver took the lives of two workers.
