According to ХВИЛЯ: The search and rescue mission in Zaporizhzhia has ended following a Russian strike that resulted in the deaths of 23 people, among them four children. President Volodymyr Zelensky reported multiple Russian attacks over the past week targeting civilian infrastructure and healthcare facilities. Notably, strikes in Kharkiv were aimed at a medical center, while overnight assaults hit residential buildings and critical energy infrastructure.

On the morning of October 10, Zelensky described a missile strike on a five-story apartment building in Sloviansk that completely destroyed one entrance. The president warned that people might still be trapped under the rubble. Over the past week, Russian forces launched approximately 1,450 aerial bombs, 75 missiles of various types, and more than 1,640 attack drones, about 60% of which were guided rockets.
President Zelensky expressed gratitude to all emergency responders working tirelessly to manage the aftermath of these attacks.
