Rocket strike in Odesa region: eight people have died
According to glavcom.ua: This morning it became known that as a result of a rocket strike on a port infrastructure facility in the Odesa region, eight people were killed and 27 others were injured. Reports of this came from the State Emergency Service and were confirmed by 'Glavkom'.
Unfortunately, the Russian rocket strike occurred yesterday evening when some of the victims were in a bus that found itself at the epicenter of the event.
Trucks caught fire in the parking lot, and passenger cars were also damaged. However, the fires were quickly extinguished.
Recent attacks on the Odesa region
Recall that on the evening of December 19, the Odesa region again became the target of massive strikes from Russian ballistic missiles. This time, the fire broke out in the parking lot of the port infrastructure, where trucks exploded.
In connection with the negative events taking place, traffic restrictions were imposed on the section of the Odesa-Reni highway near Mayaki due to damage to the bridge as a result of the rocket strike. However, according to the head of the Odesa regional state administration, Oleg Kiper, the road was not completely closed. During his speech at the briefing on December 19, he stated that over the past week, the region of the injured had been attacked about 500 times, and this was only by missiles and drones.
