Over the past week, Ukrainian drones have struck oil installations, the VZPP-S semiconductor plant in Voronezh, a satellite communications hub in Dubna, and a chemical facility in Tula. As a result, Russia's gasoline production dropped by 25% between June 15 and June 21. 'Everything depends on how well we can limit Ukrainian strikes on Russian territory and how quickly we can build drone-proof air defenses.'

Another academic warned that 'it looks like a new round of escalation is coming.' As a result, Russia remains in a state of high tension, grappling with serious economic strain triggered by Ukraine's military actions.
