According to glavcom.ua: France will provide Ukraine with the new generation air defense systems SAMP/T NG. These systems will become the most powerful in the composition of the air defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to information from the organization French Aid to Ukraine, deliveries are scheduled for 2026.

Thales has already released SAMP/T NG systems for France and Italy, and the first deliveries for Ukraine are scheduled for 2026.

Strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed hope for a significant strengthening of the defense forces due to new agreements with France, particularly regarding air defense and aviation.

During a joint briefing with French President Emmanuel Macron, he emphasized that Ukraine can expect high-tech weaponry, including 8 SAMP/T air defense systems, 100 Rafale F-4 fighter jets, as well as advanced radars and equipment.

The new SAMP/T NG air defense systems from France will help strengthen Ukraine's defense capabilities and provide more effective protection against any potential threats.
