EU transferred €5.9 billion to Ukraine: what the funds from Russia will be used for

Under the ERA Loans mechanism, Ukraine received €4.1 billion, which is the final tranche in the €18 billion program. This funding has been financed by profits from frozen Russian assets. The Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yulia Svyrydenko, emphasized that this indicates that Russia is starting to pay for its crimes, as well as a signal of European solidarity and support for Ukraine's ability to withstand.

Additionally, under the Ukraine Facility, Ukraine received €1.8 billion. This is confirmation that Ukraine is successfully progressing along the path of reforms and European integration.
