Under the ERA Loans mechanism, Ukraine received €4.1 billion, which is the final tranche in the €18 billion program. This funding has been financed by profits from frozen Russian assets. The Prime Minister of Ukraine, Yulia Svyrydenko, emphasized that this indicates that Russia is starting to pay for its crimes, as well as a signal of European solidarity and support for Ukraine's ability to withstand.

Additionally, under the Ukraine Facility, Ukraine received €1.8 billion. This is confirmation that Ukraine is successfully progressing along the path of reforms and European integration. The Prime Minister expressed gratitude to the President of the European Commission and her commissioners for their support.

This helps us maintain macro-financial stability even in the face of the challenges of war - the largest in Europe since World War II. This funding is about saved lives, restored infrastructure, and a strengthened economy. It means that we can direct more internal resources to the main thing - defense. Europe stands with Ukraine. The aggressor will definitely pay. Justice will prevail.

Therefore, Ukraine has received a significant financial package from the European Union, which supports the country in times of war and its path to reforms and European integration. This funding will help strengthen the economy, restore infrastructure, and ensure macro-financial stability.
