Among those brought are the bodies of 5 Ukrainian servicemen who died in Russian captivity and were included in the lists of 'seriously wounded and seriously ill' for exchange, according to the agreements reached in Istanbul.
Expertise and identification of bodies
Also among those transported are the bodies of fighters from various directions. Law enforcement agencies will soon conduct expertise to identify the deceased. Currently, Ukraine has already returned the bodies of 1000 fallen;
According to the coordination headquarters, the Russian side claims that these bodies belong to citizens of Ukraine. Law enforcement has already conducted all necessary expertise and identified the transported bodies.
