Ukrainian Armed Forces create a tiered system to counter Shaheds: how the defense will work
Countermeasures against Russian drones in the Ukrainian Armed Forces
The Ukrainian defense forces are actively developing a system to repel attacks from Russian drones, such as 'Shahed' and 'Geran'. This information was reported by 'Glavkom' referencing Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi.
During the meeting, the commander-in-chief reviewed reports on the effectiveness of drone interception tasks. The issue of providing military personnel with various types of drones was discussed.
«Our common task is to train more crews, educate more interceptor operators, and equip them with the latest equipment and radar systems», he noted.
Ukraine is actively seeking ways to protect itself from attacks by Russian drones and missiles, and this process requires support from the USA. President Zelensky has already consulted with European partners and President Trump on this matter.
«Protection from drones is a strategically important task for our state and the Armed Forces. The effectiveness of our 'anti-Shahed' system and missile defense directly affects the country's security. Therefore, we continue to improve crews for combating drones and create new units», the commander-in-chief emphasized.
In addition, Ukrainian expert in electronic warfare and communication Serhiy 'Flash' Bezkrestnov presented evidence that China is the main supplier of high-tech components for Russian military equipment.
Summary: The Ukrainian Armed Forces are actively enhancing the system for protecting against Russian drones, strengthening crews and units for effective counteraction to attacks. The country is also reaching out to international partners, including the USA, for support in this important endeavor. The deployment of new protective measures is strategically important for Ukraine's security.
