Ukraine and France signed agreements worth 46 million euros for medicine

According to Міністерство Здоров'я: Ukraine and France continue to develop cooperation in the field of healthcare by signing two new agreements. The Minister of Health of Ukraine Viktor Liashko met with the Special Representative of the President of France for Assistance and Recovery of Ukraine Pierre Elbron, where new areas of cooperation were discussed.

As part of the agreements, the modernization of the medical system is envisaged through the supply of high-tech medical equipment. For instance, the French company GE Medical Systems will supply Ukrainian hospitals with 25 mammography systems and IT infrastructure to combat breast cancer.

The agreement also provides for the construction of a modular hospital in the city of Nizhyn. This project will include the supply of equipment, construction work, and commissioning. All these activities are being implemented within the framework of intergovernmental agreements and are of great importance for improving the quality of medical care in Ukraine.

Ukraine is receiving important support from France in modernizing its medical system, which helps to improve the level of medical services in the country.
