These include a declaration on strategic partnership, a framework for energy cooperation, and a joint statement on co-producing defense equipment. The discussions also covered plans for new power transmission lines and collaborative drone manufacturing. This deepening partnership comes as Ukraine seeks to bolster its defenses and energy resilience against ongoing Russian attacks.
Specifically, the Ukrainian leader stated,
"Kyiv and Budapest will build two new power transmission lines to ensure Ukraine's energy security. This will allow for significantly larger volumes of electricity to be transmitted to Ukraine in case of emergency requests amid constant Russian attacks on Ukrainian energy infrastructure."
