The operation of Ukraine's intelligence services took place in collaboration with the forces and agencies of the Ministry of Defense and the Border Guard. During the attack, the actions of Russian air defense against civilian infrastructure in the city were recorded. The video shows missile strikes on residential buildings.

Reasons and Goals of the Operation

The activity of the 'Novorossiysk' port is crucial for Russia, as it is a key oil export point and the base of the Black Sea Fleet. The attack aimed to take away Russia's oil revenues that fund the war in Donbas and also to disrupt the opponent's defense systems.

Previously, law enforcement also struck strategic facilities in Russia to limit their military-economic and military potential. These actions are aimed at strengthening Ukraine's security and undermining the aggressor's capabilities.
