Ukraine Launches Military Reform

According to ХВИЛЯ: A reform aimed at technologically strengthening the army has begun in Ukraine, which includes the certification of private schools to train operators of ground robotic complexes (GRCs). The Ministry of Defense has certified seven private educational institutions, which will now be able to prepare military personnel to work with cutting-edge technologies. The state plans to fund the training of thousands of military personnel by the end of the year, which will contribute to enhancing the effectiveness of combat operations.

Certified Educational Institutions

Among the first seven certified educational institutions are:

  • SS KODAK TRAINING
  • Sky Spies UA
  • Kruk Center
  • Dignitas Fund
  • Boriviter Military School
  • DOVZHYK Aerial Reconnaissance School
  • Ghosts of Ukraine

These institutions will train specialists capable of operating various types of GRCs, including reconnaissance-strike complexes, logistics drones, remotely operated combat modules, and drones for mine clearance.

The procurement agency of the Ministry of Defense has already signed 16 contracts for the supply of GRCs worth nearly 300 million hryvnias. Most of these products have already been delivered to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The implementation of GRCs helps preserve the lives of military personnel by carrying out the most dangerous missions instead of humans, which underscores the importance of this reform for the modern army.

This reform in Ukraine aims not only to improve the training of military personnel for the use of modern technologies but also to provide the state with highly qualified specialists who can effectively manage new systems. Given the relevance of drone technologies in military conflicts, the successful implementation of this program will contribute to increasing the combat readiness of the army and reducing risks for personnel.
