European Flagship Fund Announced

According to Мін. Економіки: At the URC-2026 conference, Minister Oleksii Sobolev unveiled the European Flagship Fund, starting with €220 million. The plan is to grow this capital to €1 billion over the next two years. He also highlighted expectations for 160 intergovernmental and commercial agreements, plus 30 partnerships, totaling more than €10 billion.

Conference Outcomes

Oleksii Sobolev emphasized that this year's Ukraine Recovery Conference was the most productive and practical edition to date. This initiative is set to drive strategic economic sectors, open up defense exports, provide war risk insurance, strengthen ties with the International Monetary Fund, and reintegrate Ukrainians into the legal labor market.

The launch of the European Flagship Fund marks a key step in attracting investment into Ukraine's economy, especially amid post-war reconstruction. The anticipated deals and partnerships could lay the groundwork for stable economic growth and infrastructure development, which is critical for the country's recovery. This fund may also boost international investor confidence in Ukraine, paving the way for deeper integration into European economic frameworks.
