66th International Session for Young Olympic Ambassadors

According to НОК: Held from June 6 to 18 in Ancient Olympia, Greece, the 66th International Session for Young Olympic Ambassadors was organized by the International Olympic Academy. Its theme was 'Protecting Inclusion, Integrity, and Responsibility: Building a Safe and Fair Future for Every Athlete.' Representing Ukraine at this key event was Viktoriia Bielik, a social communications manager for the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine.

Notable Participants and Outcomes

Several prominent figures addressed the session, including:

  • Spyros Capralos, President of the European Olympic Committees,
  • Professor Harilaos Tsolakis, President of the International Olympic Academy,
  • Isidoros Kouvelos, President of the Hellenic Olympic Committee.

Representatives from over 100 countries attended, underscoring the event's global reach.

A standout part of the program was the poster competition, run by the International Society of Olympic Historians (ISOH). The Ukrainian delegation achieved a strong result, securing second place in this contest. The honorary guest and expert jury member was Professor Mariia Bulatova, Vice President of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine, President of the Olympic Academy of Ukraine, and an ISOH executive committee member. This accomplishment highlights Ukraine's active engagement in international sports initiatives and its contribution to advancing the Olympic movement.

The International Session for Young Olympic Ambassadors is a crucial event aimed at fostering the Olympic movement and facilitating experience-sharing among young sports leaders from around the world.
