Ukrainians aged 40+ are invited to a medical screening: how to receive 2000 hryvnias
Health Screening Program for Ages 40+
According to ХВИЛЯ: A health screening program for citizens aged 40 and above has launched in Ukraine, allowing them to receive funding for medical examinations. Starting from January 1, 2023, Ukrainians who have reached this age can take advantage of the opportunity to receive 2000 hryvnias for conducting a medical screening.
Invitations to participate in the program are sent 30 days after the date of birth. Citizens who receive such invitations can order a 'Diia Card,' with funds credited within 7 days after registration. This will allow patients to choose a medical institution for examination from the list of program partners.
Opportunities for Program Participants
As noted by Valeria Koval, program participants have the opportunity to choose any hospital-public, municipal, or even private, if it is included in the list of program participants, which will soon be published by the National Health Service of Ukraine. The program aims to improve the health of the population and the timely detection of diseases in the 40+ age category.
“The 'Health Screening Program for Ages 40+' is an important step in Ukraine's healthcare sector, as it promotes the early detection of diseases among older individuals.” - Valeria Koval
The introduction of funding for medical examinations also encourages citizens to take more responsibility for their health, which is particularly relevant in the face of modern challenges in healthcare.
