According to glavcom.ua: According to the communications department of the 95th separate airborne assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the military counterintelligence of the SBU and the soldiers of the 95th brigade carried out a special operation to exploit a Russian soldier. The Russian soldier delivered a prisoner from the occupied Donetsk region to the Ukrainian paratroopers for money.

The Ukrainian, who fought on the side of the Russians, admitted that he served only for money, as it became harder to earn in the occupied territory.

According to the paratroopers, the captured soldier considered himself special among the Russians, but for them, Ukrainians have always been just a resource. The operation took place at the end of last year and allowed the detention of a Russian soldier who abused the situation.

Russian sold Ukrainian mercenary

Currently, the captured soldier will be charged under Article 111 'Treason', which may lead to 15 years of imprisonment. This concerns Francisco Garcia, who, among other Cubans, fell victim to deceptive offers and became a mercenary, brought to Ukraine from forced labor in Russia.

A mercenary from Nigeria who served in the ranks of the Russian army on Ukrainian territory was also arrested earlier.

As a result of the special operation, Ukrainian security forces together with paratroopers uncovered the exploitation of the Russian soldier and ensured his transfer to law enforcement for further consideration and investigation.
