Key Meetings of the Ukrainian Delegation in Brussels

According to Зеленський: The Ukrainian delegation is currently holding significant discussions in Brussels with top officials from the European Council, NATO, and the leaders of France, Poland, Denmark, Belgium, Hungary, Finland, Sweden, as well as the King of Belgium. Central to these talks is the urgent need to increase pressure on Russia and secure enhanced defense aid for Ukraine to bring the war to an end.

Today’s agenda includes meetings with NATO’s Secretary General, the President of France, and the Prime Ministers of Poland, Denmark, and Belgium. The delegation will also have a formal audience with King Philippe of Belgium. Tomorrow, further meetings are scheduled with the Presidents of the European Council and the European Commission, along with the Prime Ministers of Hungary, Finland, and Sweden.

The Urgency of Strengthened International Backing

Amid the ongoing conflict, participants emphasize the critical need for greater international pressure on Russia and an escalation of military support for Ukraine. Representatives of the delegation highlighted that,

“All of Europe wants this war to end.”
