According to Главком: Ukrainian high jumpers Yaroslava Mahuchikh and Yuliya Levchenko competed at the Diamond League event in Rabat. Mahuchikh took first place with an impressive jump of 1.97 meters, while Levchenko finished fourth with a result of 1.91 meters.
Mahuchikh started her competition at a height of 1.91 meters, clearing it on her first attempt. She then successfully cleared 1.94 meters on her first try and 1.97 meters on her second. Unfortunately, she attempted 2.00 meters but had two failed jumps, and also missed on one try at 2.02 meters. Levchenko, meanwhile, began at 1.83 meters, clearing it on her first attempt, then went on to clear 1.87 and 1.91 meters, also on her first tries. However, she could not clear the 1.94-meter mark.
Competition Results
On the podium, Mahuchikh finished ahead of Australia's Eleanor Patterson, who took second place with a jump of 1.94 meters. Third place went to Serbia's Angelina Topić, also with a 1.94-meter clearance. Among other competitors:
- Charity Hufnagel from the United States placed sixth
- Maria Żodzik of Poland finished eighth, failing to clear 1.87 meters
