According to ХВИЛЯ: On the morning of August 28, Ukrainian UAVs of the FP-1 model attacked the oil refining plant 'Slavneft-YANOS' in Yaroslavl. A strong fire broke out at the facility, which could not be extinguished for several hours. Drones produced in Ukraine were spotted in the sky above the city; residents filmed them on video, and Russian air defense systems attempted to shoot down the drones.

Why this plant is important

'Slavneft-YANOS' is the largest oil refinery in the Central Federal District. Its capacity reaches 15 million tons of oil per year. The facility supplies fuel to the Moscow region; the distance from the Ukrainian border to the target exceeds 700 kilometers. The range of products includes:
