The train driver and his assistant were found drunk at the border with Poland

The train driver and his assistant, who arrived in Poland on a freight train in Dorohusk of the Lublin Voivodeship, caught the border guards off guard in an intoxicated state. This was reported by the TVN24 editorial office.

The train from Ukraine, arriving at the border crossing in Dorohusk, raised suspicions due to stopping at a railroad crossing rather than at the control area. The police, who inspected the locomotive, smelled alcohol from the driver and his assistant. The breathalyzer showed that the 34-year-old driver had almost two promiles of alcohol, while the 31-year-old assistant had more than two promiles.

„The train was blocked, and both Ukrainian citizens were detained. They were charged with operating vehicles under the influence, which is punishable by long-term imprisonment in Poland.”

Instead of prison, the men reached an agreement on a fine and a four-year ban on operating vehicles. They were also banned from entering Poland and the Schengen area for five years.

Deportation of participants in riots in Poland

It should be noted that Poland is deporting 63 participants in the riots that occurred during the concert of Belarusian rapper Max Korzh in Warsaw. Among them, 57 are citizens of Ukraine. Several individuals violated the rules by jumping over barriers into the field and setting off fireworks. A UPA flag was also displayed.

Additionally, a 17-year-old citizen of Ukraine was detained in Poland, who, according to Interior Minister Tomasz Szymańak, may have committed acts of sabotage on behalf of Russian special services.

The events at the border with Poland demonstrate the necessity of adhering to laws and regulations in any field, as well as the serious consequences for violators.
