Ukrainian pentathletes won bronze at the U17 European Championship
The Ukrainian team became the bronze medalist of the U17 European Championship 2025 in Barcelona, reports 'Glavkom'. The bronze was achieved by pentathletes Kyrylo Pidopryhora, Maksym Oliiarniyk, and Maksym Melnyk from team UKR A.
The individual results of Ukrainian athletes in the finals were as follows: Kyrylo Pidopryhora took 6th place with 1459 points, Maksym Oliiarniyk - 11th place with 1436 points, Maksym Melnyk - 14th place with 1427 points, and Dmytro Peremybida - 21st place with 1406 points.
It is worth noting that Ukrainian athletes also showed high results in diving. Nazarii Kononenko and Valerii Maleiev became winners in synchronized diving from the platform among boys, and Yelyzaveta Diadiuk won a silver medal in the 3m trampoline diving in age group B.
- Sofiya Vystavkina and Alisa Meshkova won bronze in synchronized diving from the platform among girls with a score of 252.18 points.
As a result, Ukrainians also showed good results in rowing at the championship, winning 5 medals: one gold, three silver, and one bronze. The national team of Ukraine ranked sixth in the medal table.

Among Ukrainian athletes, canoeist Ludmila Luzan stood out, who won four medals (1 gold, 3 silver) at four distances and became one of the most successful participants of the championship.
We remind you that Luzan was also a medalist at the European Championship in 2021.
