According to Главком: Ukraine's junior athletes secured seven medals at the World Shooting Championships for juniors, held from June 16 to 26 in Suhl, Germany. The tournament featured over 800 competitors from 70 nations, with Ukraine represented by 16 participants.

Ukrainian shooters stood on the podium seven times, achieving the following results:

• Two gold medals in team events: rapid-fire pistol and standard pistol;
• Silver in the team event for sport pistol;
• An individual silver in standard pistol, earned by Oleksii Tsion;
• Bronze medals for Vladyslav Medushevskyi in sport pistol (25 m) and standard pistol;
• A team bronze in free pistol, claimed by Maksym Himon, Ivan Martynov, and Maksym Kaminskyi.
