The strike occurred near Khorly in the Kherson region, taking out a radar system used to detect and track surface naval targets. This Bussol-S station assists the Russian coast guard and navy in monitoring coastal waters.

"Ukraine's defense forces will continue to systematically carry out measures aimed at stopping the armed aggression of the Russian Federation."

General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

These strikes reflect Ukraine's ongoing strategic policy of eliminating enemy military assets, which could significantly weaken Russian combat capabilities. Destroying radar stations and ammunition depots is critical for securing Ukrainian territory and enhancing the effectiveness of its own operations. However, such actions may escalate the conflict, as Russia is likely to respond with countermeasures.

In a related context, the Ukrainian forces have intensified their offensive efforts by targeting key Russian military infrastructure, including refineries and airfields. These coordinated strikes aim to disrupt supply lines and diminish the operational capacity of Russian forces, highlighting Ukraine's strategic approach to countering aggression and ensuring national security.
