According to Главком: At the 2026 European Shooting Championships held in Osijek, Croatia, Serhii Kulish secured a bronze medal in the 50m rifle three positions event. This marks his fifth career medal at the European level. A two-time Olympic medalist, Kulish delivered an impressive performance throughout both the qualification and final rounds.

Competition Results

During the qualification stage for the 50m three positions rifle event, Kulish finished first with a score of 594 points. Forty of his shots hit the bullseye, giving him a two-point lead over his closest rival, Petr Nymburský of the Czech Republic. This strong showing placed him in a confident position heading into the final.

In the final, Kulish continued to demonstrate his skill. He recorded 101.9 points in the kneeling position, 103.9 points in the prone position, and 50.1 points in the standing position. However, entering the elimination round, he trailed the third-place competitor by 1.2 points. In the third round, Kulish scored 10.4 points, allowing him to overtake Filip Nepejchal of the Czech Republic. The fourth round ended with a score of 10.3 points for Kulish, the best among the three finalists.

The final standings for the 50m rifle event at the European Championships are as follows:

  • Gold: Patrik Jány (Slovakia) - 356.6 points
  • Silver: Jon-Hermann Hegg (Norway) - 353.9 points
  • Bronze: Serhii Kulish - 345.1 points
