Ukrzaliznytsia will receive new passenger cars: details of the record order

According to hvylya.net: The Ministry of Communities and Territories Development has announced that Ukrzaliznytsia will purchase 100 new passenger cars from a domestic enterprise - Public Joint Stock Company 'Kryukov Railcar Building Works'.

The first batch of cars will consist of 5 units of the new generation with an increased level of comfort, modern control systems, and greater passenger capacity. They will have an average service life of up to 50 years, sleeping places, electric heating, and automatic doors.

One of the new cars will be inclusive, intended for passengers with disabilities. This car is equipped with an electric lift, a ramp, and a larger compartment.

The cost of one car will be about 95 million UAH, and the inclusive one will be 98.3 million UAH. The delivery of the cars will last up to 2.5 years, and Ukrzaliznytsia may expand the renewal program with additional funding.
