The government extended the PSO: electricity tariffs will remain unchanged until 2026
The government announced the extension of special obligations for universal service (PSO) for electricity until April 30, 2026. Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko reported this.
This decision provides for a stable tariff for electricity for the population at the level of 4.32 hryvnias per kilowatt-hour during the heating season. For those using electric heating, a preferential tariff system is in place, where the price is 2.64 hryvnias per kilowatt-hour for households consuming up to 2000 kilowatt-hours per month. For higher consumption levels, the standard tariff of 4.32 hryvnias is applicable.
This decision is aimed at reducing financial pressure on families during the winter period and supporting citizens during the heating season.
