The government is increasing monthly payments for the families of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes

According to Міністерство соц. політики: The government has approved a resolution from the Ministry of Social Policy, Family and Unity of Ukraine to increase monthly payments for dependents of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes.

The Minister of Social Policy, Family and Unity, Denis Uliutin, noted: 'The Heavenly Hundred Heroes defended the freedom of Ukraine on Maidan without weapons. They protected the same values for which our soldiers are fighting today at the front. Therefore, the state must guarantee justice and adequate support for their families.'

Starting from December 1, 2025, the amount of the monthly payment to the pension in case of loss of the breadwinner will be 12,971 hryvnias. If there are two or more dependents in the family, this amount will be equally distributed among them. It should be recalled that currently such payments amount to 5,000, 6,500 or 8,000 hryvnias depending on the number of dependents and were set in 2014.

It is also worth noting that now payments will be calculated not only to the pension in case of loss of the breadwinner but also to the pension for age or disability, if it is granted under the Law of Ukraine on 'Compulsory State Pension Insurance'.

'Currently, 92 family members of 76 Heavenly Hundred Heroes receive pensions due to the loss of the breadwinner.'

The government is increasing monthly payments for the families of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes, which is an important step in providing adequate support and recognizing the heroism and sacrifices made by these brave people for Ukraine.
