The Government and Mastercard Launch a Partnership: What Will Change for Ukrainians
The Government of Ukraine and Mastercard have signed a Memorandum of Understanding, initiating cooperation to strengthen the country's digitalization process. The agreement was signed during the Rebuild Ukraine conference in Warsaw.
Ukrainian Minister of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture Oleksiy Sobolev, Mastercard's General Director in Ukraine and Moldova Inga Andreeva, along with the Director of Government Policy and Relations at Mastercard, Tucker Foote, signed the Memorandum.
- Financial Security and Inclusion: developing digital solutions to facilitate government payments, using analytics and intuitive tools, supporting small and medium-sized businesses.
- Travel and Transport: digital transformation of public transport, improving user experience and accessibility, supporting innovations in tourism.
- Digitization and Innovation: developing digital solutions in cybersecurity, digital identification, and financial inclusion, supporting startup development.
- Cyber Resilience and Payment Security: developing strategies to combat cyber threats and protect critical infrastructure.

The Government of Ukraine and Mastercard have entered into an agreement to work together on digital solutions in the fields of financial security, transport, innovation, and cybersecurity. This partnership aims to promote the development and modernization of the Ukrainian system in various areas of infrastructure.
