The government has approved the investment budget for 2026: 111.5 billion UAH for 12 key areas

Public investment in Ukraine for 2026

According to Мінфін: In 2026, the total resource of public investments in Ukraine will amount to 111.5 billion UAH, specifically for 12 key areas. In particular, funding from the general fund will be 48 billion UAH, while the special fund, which includes grants and concessional loans, will provide 63.5 billion UAH.

Main funding areas

Among the main funding areas, significant amounts have been planned for:

• Transport infrastructure - 41.2 billion UAH
• Healthcare - 19.1 billion UAH
• Education and science - 17 billion UAH
• Energy - 13.6 billion UAH from the budget and another 22.1 billion UAH within state guarantees
• Municipal infrastructure and utilities - 9.4 billion UAH
• Social facilities - 5.7 billion UAH

Additionally, 2 billion UAH is allocated for the development of regions and communities through the State Regional Development Fund (SRDF) and 3.5 billion UAH for other areas such as digitalization, housing, environment, public finances, security, and the legal sphere. Thus, the investment budget for 2026 defines the priorities for the country's development in various sectors.

The planned investments in Ukraine for 2026 reflect a strategic approach to the development of key sectors of the economy and society.
