The government has approved new rules for auditing EU funds: what will change

According to Мінфін: The government has adopted a new Procedure for conducting state financial audits aimed at protecting national financial interests and those of the EU. This document establishes clear mechanisms and procedures for audits conducted to verify the use of funds provided under international agreements, in particular under the #UkraineFacility mechanism.

The main aspects to be checked during the audit are the legality of fund use, their effectiveness, accounting, and the reliability of financial reporting, as well as control within the financial management system. These aspects will serve as the basis for conducting new audits in the future.
