Changes to Public Transport in Ivano-Frankivsk on Christmas Eve and Christmas

On Christmas Eve, December 24, there will be changes in the operation of public transport in Ivano-Frankivsk. Some evening bus and trolleybus services will be canceled, and from December 25, transport will operate on a weekend schedule. This is reported by Suspilne.

The changes were announced in the Telegram channel of the municipal enterprise Elektroavtotrans. Passengers are asked to take the updated schedule into account when planning trips during the holidays.

Public Transport in Ivano-Frankivsk on Christmas Eve, December 24

On Tuesday, December 24, municipal transport will operate on a reduced evening schedule. The last trolleybus and bus departures will leave earlier than on regular days.

In particular, the restrictions will affect the following trolleybus routes:

• Routes No. 2, No. 3, No. 4, No. 5, No. 6, No. 7, No. 8, and No. 10 — with the last service ending between 17:40 and 22:20 depending on the route and final stop.

Furthermore, most bus routes will also finish earlier, including No. 23, No. 26, No. 27, No. 29, No. 40, No. 41, No. 43, No. 45–47, No. 49–61, and others. The last departures will vary approximately between 18:00 and 22:15.

On Wednesday, December 25, buses and trolleybuses in Ivano-Frankivsk will operate according to the weekend schedule. This means longer intervals between services compared to weekdays.

The municipal enterprise urges passengers to carefully check the schedules and be aware of holiday restrictions to avoid inconveniences while traveling around the city.
